Hope this posts correctly....
I am an avid diver (well that remains to be seen) with around 500 dives. Cert level: Dive Master ...PADI. Have a group of friends that I usually dive with out of Houston, Texas. We typically go to Cozumel 3-4 times a year and then try to go an unique place such as: Yap, Red Sea, Galapagos, etc.
A group of us just bought a condo in Cozumel. For those that go there a lot you probably are familar with El Cantil condos. For those that are not, brand new 7 story condo tower just south of town about a 3-5 minute walk and is right next door to Plaza Las Glorias (or whatever they name it in the future). It is 4 bedroom/4 bathroom on the 6th floor. Plan to rent it but will also be sending a lot of time there brushing up on my Spanish.......
My comment on "well that remains to be seen" deals with the fact I apparently had a DCS Type 2 hit in the Galapagos about 2 weeks ago. I spent 13 hours in the Santa Cruz chamber over 3 days and still have problems after returning to Houston. I have seen a neurologist, cardio-vascular specialist, and an internal medicine doctor and they are still trying to determine if it was DCS or something else. So my diving will be on hold pending futher evaluation.
Well anyway, I think this dive board is excellent and enjoy persuing the various topics. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute something in the future.
