I just wanted to say hello to everyone, and that I have learned so much from reading the posts. I will be finishing up my open water cert this weekend, and have already decided to continue my education. We'll be doing the dives at Canyon Lake near New Braunfels, TX, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Glad you found us! This is a great place to spend your SI, but watch out, it's addictive!

If you fill out your profile a bit more, then the folks in your neighbourhood will soon be saying a great big hi, and provide you with all sorts of useful information.

Guess with your comment on where you'll be diving, you might want to check out the Texas Swamp Divers forum for neighbours and info.

Welcome to the board! and good luck with the C-Card

Welcome to SB. I'll just tell you to keep it simple and safe, pay attention at all times, practice, practice...you get the idea; but above all, have tons of fun.
Wish you the best on your cert...after that, you just won't be able to stop.

Welcome aboard!! You will have a blast doing your certification dives!!

Just got back from diving Spring Lake in San Marcos, but they don't allow Recreational Diving there...
