I use a "nitrox clean" reg for O2 (which basically means viton o-rings). IMHO the reality is you can get a reg O2 clean but it will probably only stay that way for a week and then you're diving just another "nitrox clean" reg. Besides technically you need a clean room to make something O2 clean... how many dive shops have you seen with a clean room?

In terms of 'real' world O2 clean regs on O2 dedicated deco bottles.........many tec divers either clean an existing reg. they have, or purchase a new one that is EITHER 100% or 40% service and use them right out of the box with no issues.
