If anyone is interested in diving on the wrecks off of North Carolina's coast, there are still several spots left with http://www.ncwreckdiving.com for their October trip.
I have met both the charter operator and the guy who created the dive profiles and this promises to be a very fun, interesting, and educational trip. It is possible to get your c-card in basic wreck diving. And there is talk that some of the major tech divers coming along are going to raise a large deck gun off of one of the wrecks (NC does allow divers to scaveng artifacts). So even though you won't be allowed to directly participate, you can still watch a marine salvage operation take place. Plus there will be plenty of opportunities to see large and small marine life including the sharks that populate the area.
Spots are filling up fast and the small deposit is due ASAP. Visit http://www.ncwreckdiving.com for more info and to get your spot reserved!
I have my spot reserved so this would be a chance for us to meet and dive together!
