For Sale: My beloved Northern Divers THOR 1600 vulcanized rubber dry suit.
Used on 6 fresh water dives and 14 dives in Atlantic Ocean off Long Island shore.
This is a heaviest duty commercial dry suite in the world. Period. Absolutely bullet proof. If you are getting into commercial diving, or into hard core wreck diving this baby will never let you down. Very thick. I don’t think a white shark would be able to bite through it.
Boots have steel toes (!!!). I once had a steel 120HP tank fallen on my toes while on a rocking boat – did not feel a thing!
Size “Large”, integrated boots are US size 11, lined with 5 mm neoprene. Low profile heavy duty intake and automatic exhaust valves. Very thick heavy duty Latex seals in excellent condition. I am 6’ and was comfortable in this suite starting when I weighted 195lb and ending with 223lb. Neck size 15”, wrist size 7” – seals feel a bit tight.
Selling because it does not fit me anymore – gained weight. Bummer…
