Notice to all Dive Shops, Instructors, Divers and Charter Operators:
The 1000 Islands International Hydroplane Regatta and Festival will be taking place at Centeen Park, Water Street East, Brockville from Saturday June 21st to Sunday June 22nd 2008.
This event features hydroplanes that reach up to 170mph racing between Block House Island and Centeen Park.
The City of Brockville wishes to notify all divers that shore diving will be unavailable at Centeen Park and Block House Island from 7am June 21st to 4pm June 22nd while the Festival is underway. Also, the wreck of the Sir Robert Gaskin will be closed to all divers during this time frame.
