Oceanic SWIV 3-gauge console - remove computer & compass section?

I'm planning on removing the computer and compass from my 3-gauge SWIV console, purchased in July '07, and putting each in wrist boots.

Can I just leave the upper half (the dark blue part) of the SWIV console off, using the SPG only?



Or can I order/obtain *just* the plastic housing (to make this a standalone SPG) or do I have to buy the entire SPG?

Yes, you can. I use the SPG on my doubles as a standalone.
