Official State of Virginia-Scuba Diver License Plates

During my last visit to Lake Rawlings, I saw the official State of Virginia-Scuba Diver license plates. They are in need of 350 paid application in order for the plates to be produced. It seems like Dive Connections out of Charlottesville, VA has taken the lead on this action. Supposedly the word has been sent to all Virginia dive shops, so its up to Virginia divers to take action, if they want these plates. It will only take 6 letters for those of you with personalized plates but I am sure you can modify yours to fit.

I just re-posted the thread under a new title. I wanted to let everyone know it was a State of Virginia license plate and not a novelty item. I have heard attempts at getting this to become a reality for the last 10 yrs. Maybe we can do it this year.
