Picked up this Dacor valve the other day. Seems it has a built in HP Port?

It does, in the early days of SPG's many regs did not have an HP port, this was a way to add one to any reg. Several companies offered models with the port.

Cool. Any idea what time period it might be from?

My vintage Voit lacks an HP port. Every time I dived with it I had no idea of my tank PSI, and that made me very nervous. I cut a lot of dives short. Then I picked up one of these Dacor valves on eBay, and it works great... problem solved. Fortunately I also owned a vintage SPG because the the thread size does not match the modern SPGs.

I'm truly a newbe when it comes to vintage gear. I'm sure none of this comes as a surprise to most readers of this board.

HP hoses for the 3/8" port common on valves of this era are available from VDH. Adapters to allow a modern 7/16" hose to connect to a 3/8" port are available from many sources including DGX.

Most any dive shop can order you the correct hose from Trident, they still sell them.
