Spring Bling was not a problem for diving at BHB. JupiterMermaid and I went. Yeah.. they had checkpoints... I told them I was diving the bridge, and they let me through. It wasn't crowded at all... I guess everyone was worried about Spring Bling.

It was a excellent dive. Viz was good.. and slack tide didn't want to quit. I think I could have had 2 hours of bottom time, but I got in the water later and I got cold after 91 minutes...

I shot myself in the foot then. I waived off.

Thanks for future reference.

Yeah, like Scuba Dad stated, the police just waved us by knowing we weren't spring blingers. The diving was excellent. I never saw so many parking spaces available or so few divers in the area. The police just wanted to make sure the young 'uns weren't loitering or "doing their thing" in an area that divers covet. I think it kept a lot of other people away when it actually made conditions easier. This week is Palm Beach County's Spring Break, so I imagine it will also be monitored and diving should be good. Of course, when you're with the right buddy (right, Scuba Dad?) the diving is always good.

One of the reasons there were so few divers I think was that most classes decided to avoid that day,
My bad.
