It's not merino. I found that I prefer a 3mm shorty or no wetsuit at all for warm water diving. Guess that's what happens when you're used to diving in the Puget Sound.

How tall are you and how much do you weigh?
I'm 6'1" 230. Website shows that to be towards the upper limit on the XL.
