Plan your dive, dive your plan?

I read through a lot of these and it's good to know a lot of others plan a dive similar to my buddies and I. Pretty informal as long as there are no new factors. We do the same for the describing the dive then talk about goals (Like I would like to stop at 20 feet and check this new...)

New divers come with the group or a new dive site things get more formal and detailed.
