Mermaids?! A little too much narcosis?

I carry a light with 4 c batteries. If flashing that doesnt work get there attention, the buddy is too far away.

I can get my buddies attention by making a very low sound through my regulator. I've tried it up to 15' or so with great results. Yet it isn't loud enough to be bothersome to any other divers in the area (not that I usually see another diver).

Low tech, easy to do (well, easier for guys), cheap, and doesn't make a racket.
