Pocket size: Halcyon EVA Plush Back Pad vs MC Storage Pak

Looking to get a backplate pocket for a 50lb lift bag. I was going to buy the MC storage pak but saw that halcyon now has an EVA Plush Back pad with an integrated storage pocket.

If I’m gonna get a plate pocket, I might as well spend the extra 50 bucks and get a full back pad out of it, no?

My only concern is the size of the pocket of the back pad compared to the pak.

Do you need a back pad? Most don't.
