Shot this 45# AJ outside Ft Jefferson park in the Dry Tortugas
Diving off the liveaboard Playmate out of Key West. Great group of guys, I highly recommend their diving service. We go every year. Will post some more pics from my trips later.

I've been hesitant to post this pic because this fish is protected in the US and FL. But they're legal here. This was the smallest of three that came under me at about 50 feet. I hit it and it pulled the gun from my hand like pulling your finger from a baby's grip, then it went down over the wall to about 100 feet and died. Didn't get to weigh the whole fish but the head, minus the gills and pectoral fins weighed 18 lbs. My guess is the fish was at least 120 lbs. Iced it really well and ate if for the next couple months. Really good eating. 6 inch thick fillets.

43 lb cubera. About 35 feet down on the bottom of a cut. Beautiful day.

This thread has been pretty quiet. Here's one of a couple nice dogs my son and I got. This past Saturday, the reef was void of fish. Eerily quiet.

Runkby, your link can't be viewed as is.
Go to the photo on Facebook and "copy" the image address. Paste that in the "insert image" window. It should come out.
