Dang, I just got done with a search on this & nada, so it looks like I get to spring a post on the topic.

The guy mentioned has been frequenting the area for 20 - 30 years looking for the legendary "Poverty Island Gold"; this specific location was where the Capt. Lawrence supposedly sank, so there's some speculation about just what's cooking here.
