Thanks All!! I think that I found what the problem was!! The Two Half Rings were assembled on the zoom ring with the screws too tight!!! I loosened them a a little and all seems to be working ALL OK!!!

Assembled the Nauticam port assembly controls on my OMD the other night and found the zoom would crep. Came here to see if anybody else had had this problem, and found the fix in this thread. I had also overtightened the two half rings.
