Puerto Vallarta

While on snow escape for 10 days I did a few dive trips with Vallarta undersea and while this is not my normal type of diving, boat and full service stuff, this is a great outfit and for the trip price everything is included in case you find yourself in a very cool (wonderfully warm) place without your gear (I brought mine) they will take care of everything. The crew are very friendly and competent and speak very good English which is great for us old stupid Americans who are unable to speak any other language .

the guides will find the sights, an overall pleasant experience, if you go the Marietas island trip has a lot to

see, look for my S20 nitescuba that I dropped on the way up from the last dive, keep the light but I would love to have the clip back .

About 45 minutes to Los Arcos and an hour to the Marietas islands.

Great photos, I have never dove in that part of Mexico but the beaches are excellent.

Another site in PV to consider is El Morro. It is a big rock SE of the Marietas. There is a dive-thru cave which is interesting. Vallarta Adventures does a trip there for more experienced divers once or twice a week. The beaches are not that great as there can be many sharp, hidden rocks in the surf.
