I think your photos are great, I'm a beginner and have an rx100ii and my next purchase would be strobes, any particular reason you went with the d-2000. Most people I read have the ys-02 or the z240s, so I'm just trying to find pros and cons etc

I didn't buy the D-2000s new. One I already owned quite sometime ago when I had a Canon G10 shooting mainly macros. I just added another one used since I am shooting wide angles this time.

The reason for getting D2000s is simple, they were cheaper than Z240s (not sure about YS-02). With all the money spent on lenses and housing, the cost added up quickly. I just went with what I had instead of getting all the new strobes.

I think if money is no object, and I am starting from scratch shooting wide angle, I would love to get Z240s instead. With a higher guide number Z240s would have a better reach for wide angle shots.
