I tried a search for rock bottom in excell and RMV and excell with negitive returns. I understand SAC, RMV, Rock Bottom and can do all the numbers forward and backwards. I would like to have it in an excell spreadsheet to track and compare the dives and do the calc's. I am however excell challanged. Has anyone created this in excell? If so care to share it?

Perhaps your search failed because you mispelled Excel ...

... just a thought ...

Tell me exactly what you want to calculate and I'll toss it into a spreadsheet for you.

Jonnython, I really appreciate it. the blanks are the inputs to calc. Thanks in advance...

GAS = ____ / 3000 = ____ x 77 = ____ cu. ft.
_____ / 30 ft. per min. = ____ Min.
_____ / 33 + 1 = ____ atm x ___ min. x 1 = ___ cu. ft. to surface.
____ min. stop@ ____ ft / 33 +1 = ____ atm x ___ min. x 1 = _____ cu ft. consumed at stop
______+ ____ = ____ total cu. ft. x 2 divers = ____ cu. ft.

______ begin psi / ____ tank cu. ft. = ____ psi per cu. ft.
_____ psi x _____ cu. ft. = _____ Rock Bottom psi turn pressure.

Sorry it took so long, I had to work all day. This one does what you ask and a little bit more - it will calculate an exact Rock Bottom for you. It's completely customizable.. input any type of tank, any safety stop, any SAC you want and it will do it all for you. Hope it's OK.

SB won't let me attach Excel files, so here's a link:

If you find any bugs, let me know

Yeah my internet connection has been iffy, sorry about that. I sent an email.

It should be up now. Most people can access it.

My router died tonight, so I had to go out and buy a new one. There was an hour or two where I didn't have a connection, and it took me a bit to set up the new one. Should def be working now though.

If I can not spell it, I surely can not operate it. :wink:

Nah ... it's just that search engines can be picky that way ... :eyebrow:
