On Saturday, December 6, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, Jolly old St. Nick will visit the pool at the Walter Baker Sports Centre at 100 Malvern Drive in Nepean. The Ottawa Beavers Scuba Club has arranged to loan Santa and his Elves some scuba equipment so that you can get your picture taken with Santa and his Elves......under water (about 4 feet).
For only $ 10.00 each participant 12 years of age and older will receive a brief scuba instruction (guardian's consent needed for those under the age of 18 years) or a snorkel instruction for children under the age of 12 years, a unique photograph of themselves with Santa and his elves under water, and a memory that will surely last a lifetime. Certified Divers should bring their c-card with them.
100% of the proceeds from this event will go towards Roger's House. Roger's House is a new facility being constructed in memory of the late Ottawa Senators assistant coach Roger Neilson. Roger's House will be located on the grounds of the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and will provide pediatric palliative care with the objective of enhancing the comfort and quality of life for children and their families.
So come out for a good cause, a lot of fun, and a memory that can be nicely framed and gift-wrapped just in time for the holiday season. All you need to bring is a bathing suit, towel, and a smile.
If you want additional info feel free to PM me.
