What was the deepest dive without coming back up?
Do you mean before or after death here?

kazinvan:
Ya, I wonder how deep the support divers went? Maybe on the way up he didn't see anyone until 600 feet or so, which is almost half way back up to the surface.

According to This Story
The attempt will start about 07:00 when Gomes dives with seven cylinders to 320m. Then he should ascend to a depth of 120m within about 24 minutes, where the first member of his team will be waiting.

120m=394ft.. that is a deep dive on its own...

And also 200m in 24 min... = 27ft/min... Suprised given the depth. I have read that you are supposed to accend from deaper depths at the 60/min.. I guess it does not apply when you are THAT deep.

I'd like to see a copy of his dive computer log if there is one, that would be interesting to see.

Is a diver computer even made that will go that deep?

Mine "quits" after 330 feet. darn huh? (yeah... like I've ever tested it that deep!)
