Varadero Beach has becoming into the mecca of tourism in Cuba, the beach its beautiful (by far the biggest attraction in Cuba on TripAdvisor) and the position in the map is so convenient, been near from many historical places in the island like Havana, Santa Clara, Bay of Pigs, Cienfuegos and Trinidad, it make this destination pretty much a great place to go if you want to know the Cuban culture and at the same time have a blast under the sun and white sand under your feet.
But thats not all, not known for the beauty of the underwater landscape, Varadero is a terrific destination for Diving and Snorkeling, with rich Coral Reef areas (like Claraboyas, Yami, Crabs, Cabezo de los Tiburones, Cayo Piedra, Coral Beach, Acuario, Caballerote and Rajao Reef to name a few), Amazing Wrecks (like The Russian Patrol Boat, Sletrea Wreck (Oil Tanker), Harbor Tug Boat Wreck, Caribe and Neptuno Wrecks) and Stunning Wall dives on the Bay of Pigs. Varadero is a diving destination you would not want to miss.
There are Several Scuba Diving Centers operating in Varadero, from government owned to private instructors working with their own Scuba Schools and all looking to provide the best diving service for divers of all levels and experience.
