Unless you're selling meg teeth commercially, I doubt you'd have trouble.

The permit is actually issued by the museum of natural history:

The hard part is that they only do them via snail mail.... Sub optimal transaction method in the year 2020.
 
I went by Florida West Scuba today. They are relocating across the parking lot. Their current building is being torn down next week. Gary wasn't sure how this was going to work out in the short term because the building they are relocating to is not finished. He is pretty sure they will have tanks and a few other things available in the short term. If you plan to go there, call first - 941-486-1400.

BTW, they no longer have a boat. If you used them in the past for tooth diving, you'll have to charter with someone else.
