- OPs note, If this is in the wrong forum please move, the article states the piece was found when a doc dive crew was searching for a WWII plane. So I thought it was the closest to the correct forum. :thumb:



The large piece discovered is from the belly with thermal tiles.

The article says there will be a special about it airing soon.
A History Channel documentary detailing the discovery airs Nov. 22.
 
With video. So you have the cringeworthy pleasure of diver #1 kneeling and crawling along the delicate deteriorating thermal tiles 🙄 (if you've ever gotten to hold one, they're ultra-light and fragile ceramic matrix, kind of like pumice).
