Headline is good click bait but there's nothing baffling about marine life inside volcanic vents. I managed to fit inside one and found the biggest sweetlips I've ever seen by far massed inside. Because I was on a LOB and didn't want the other divers to have to call my children to tell them I cooked myself to death 30m under the sea (save on cremation costs) I didn't push past them and try exploring further as the vent did a sharp turn and narrowed substantially but i would not have been at all surprised to find anything in there. I did ponder the minerals may play a part in the drawing of guests but I decided just to enjoy the amazing dive and be thankful being a mini diver able to fit in there. I was diving not sciencing

Well we like a dip in the hot tub...
