Great report! I'm excited to be going there next month. Any advice on Sharm vs marsa alam or some of the other dive areas?
 
I like Sharm because of the great infrastructure. They can handle lots of folks there and it still doesn"t feel crowded. There are two major dive areas, Ras Mohamed (a nature preserve) to the South and Tiran (also a nature preserve) to the North. Be sure and look at TexasScuba53's photos!
 
We love it and keep going back. The best coral and fish within 5 hours flying time of the UK
