Hi All,
Just thought I'd share my experiences of my trip to Sharm last week with you.
Dived with Oonas as always and was very happy with their service, as usual. Thanks to Terry our guide and the crew of the Obi Wan for the nice dives and even better lunches.
The diving was good, but not quite what I had expected. The last time I was in Sharm was 8 years ago and I can clearly tell the difference; much less stuff to see, and the overwhelming colours that were there before are now quite underwhelming...
(Shark and Yolanda is still an amazing divesite, best dive of the week definitely, if you can avoid the hundreds of other divers (like we did!).)
Could this have anything to do with the high temperatures of the water? 30C
Anyone have an opinion on this? Or did I just build it up too much in my mind...?
Sharm itself is an absolute circus now, but quite easily avoided at Oonas.
Cheers,
SubQ
