Sidemount diving in this country has gone through an interesting evolutionary period. When I first entered cave diving, you'd see people in their homemade jacket BCs,and it was a fringe area. Now sidemounting has entered the main stream with out of the package kits ready to go-gone are the hours of hand work. But what lead us to the point where we are now? Two people,Lamar Hires and Bill Rennaker have contributed more to the modern day evolution of sidemounting than anybody has,and modern sidemount rigs have their signatures imbedded in the design. Saturday,April 3rd is a rare opportunity to have these two sidemount legends together putting on a clinic at the Madison social sponsored by the NFSA. Where can you get a free clinic from these two sidemount instructors and developers, free lunch,go diving, and win some awesome door prizes....for FREE.
