Similans or Phuket Diving (Shark Point, Anemone)

I know I've been posting a ton lately...but I'm coming down to the wire and want to make my decision on diving by tomorrow.

I've decided to do a day trip to Richeleiu from Khao Lak and now am trying to decide if we should dive a 2nd daytrip to Similans or if we should wait until we are in Phuket and dive a 3 dive daytrip to Sharks Point, Anemone Reef and Ko Dok Mai.

I guess the question is do you prefer the Similans over the sites I mention off Phuket?

The Similan Islands have the better diving but is in my opinion only worth visiting on a Live-aboard.

so if all I can do is a daytrip, you'd personally rather dive off of Phuket instead of Similans (can't do a liveaboard this time)

Yes, I would. And I would go for the Sharkpoint 3-dive day trip.
