Anyone know what the conditions are like in Monterey? From the Breakwater webcam, it's hard to tell if that's fog or smoke from the fire. Fog usually makes the underwater viz improve in the summer. I wonder if smoke has the same effect.
 
Not very likely... Just trying to lighten up my nervous and active mind:/ I'm almost positive air fills are no problem. Most of the smoke is heading NE or SE (I believe, anyone in Monterey got a smoke report?) thankfully for the Lobos area. Not good for my inland brothers and sisters, though.
So breathe down those tanks and dive as much as you can:) Safe diving...
