i need way more than a year to plan my travel. are you going anywhere in 2015 or 2016?

Hi Richh32,
Thanks for your insight. So you are already booked for your dive travel the winter of 2014? (Not this winter, but next winter.)
Having been in this travel biz for a while, it is interesting that some people plan way ahead, others are last minute, and others are a year in advance.
So were are you headed in 2013 and 2014? Where would you like to go in 2015, 2016? We do have some ideas kicking around.
Thanks again for your insight.

I am being facetious. i am about as last minute as you can get. my last three trips have been planned in less than a week :D

LOL. :snicker:You got me there! In that case, I have a group going to Cozumel Oct 20 - 27, 2012 that you are welcome to join! I also have a group in February, also going to Cozumel, but that may be too far away to plan ahead. :D For the February group, I do have a guy who needs a roommate.

Thanks for the offer. The Feb. might work. I will keep you in the loop.

Just let me know how I can help, Richh32! I can get rates for air from Cleveland, if that's where you'd like to fly from, or anywhere else for that matter. Or you are welcome to use miles. Whatever works for you!

Heather :)

What is the water temperature in the Revillagigedos Islandes (Socorro) in January February. I've seen figures ranging from 65 to high 70s F -obviously a big difference as far as diving suit required.

HI KenOhio,

I apologize for my delay in reply. I have been traveling with groups this winter, and now playing catch up!
(It's a tough life, but someone has to do it!)
:)

I emailed the Solmar V group, for details regarding your good question about temperature ranges. Here is what they said:

"
Historically the water temperature during January / February ranges from 72 - 75F. We don't usually see water temperatures at the Socorro Islands below 70F. You may keep track of the water temperature at the islands by monitoring the blog from our divemasters at the following webpage: Solmar V Socorro Dive Reports or by monitoring our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/SolmarV.liveaboard.
If you get a chance, check out the new videos the Solmar V posted on You Tube from January and February of this year. There is amazing marine life!!! You Tube/Revillagigedos Islands (Socorro).

By the way, I have to release space for my group by May 15th. I have 5 spaces left. Great to have you join us!

Let me know what questions you may have, and how I can help!
