Last Sunday, a diver was found at the Dreischor Frans Kok Rif divesite in the Zeeland province in The Netherlands: Duiker omgekomen bij Zuid Langeweg Dreischor.

According to the report, the diver was diving alone. I know the site quite well and it's a very benign, easy divesite. No current, visibility was pretty good for the Grevelingen meer (I was diving a few dive sites over) and diving depth is usually less than 10m. Water temperature was around 13 degrees Celcius, which leads me to believe that the diver probably had a personal medical issue due to the cold or non-dive related.

All the best to those left behind.
