Wondering if there was a dive club for the Mobile/Baldwin County Area?

We are a intrenet Dive Club (so to speak) here at Deep Dixie, and I think it works as well as any club I have seen or heard of.

We could get some T-Shirts made and have get togethers (which we do already).
I have been thinking about this for a while. The off season may be a time to talk about it and get somthing going.
The problem is we are spread out for 100's of miles.

Very true!! We do use the DDD forum to plan and post events. I tried one time to have a monthly dive n dine get together but every one's schedules are also hard to plan around. But there are several organized events every year. The next one is Vortoberfest at Vortex the weekend of Oct 17th. There are also other smaller gatherings where someone starts a thread in the travel subforum announcing a dive and inviting people to attend.

I think a little club would be cool. It would also be a great excuse to drink beer
