South Louisiana Dive Club?

Are there any organized diving clubs in South Louisiana? On the board I see a lot of other areas that have local clubs that have social event, seminars, planned dives, etc. Would be nice if something like this existed down here.....

If there isn't would there be any interest?

Don't know, but doubtful. I saw some of their members at DEMA this year. Ask Mark or Suzanne at UA and they will have contact info for you. I've lost touch with them over the past couple of years. If you're into Spearfishing, I highly recommend the Hell Divers. I don't recommend their diving style, but they seem like a fine bunch of good 'ol boys. (they dive waaay outside of recreational limits for fun. Some are even trained)
