awesome, thanks guys, we are leaving next Thursday. I might see about not using a CC, I might see if we can do cash the entire time. Just leave it in the safe at the hotel. I cant wait to get there!!!!

Enjoy your trip! Hoping to leave tomorrow, have to see what this tropical wave does to those plans. Cash works everywhere, or hit the major banks to get cash. Red Hook has a Scotia Bank I use. The number grabbing seems to be happening in restaurants. For night life (not that I see any) Duffy's Love Shack is billed as "the most fun you can have in a parking lot" (you'll see why). Drinks are good, dancing, strobe lights, fog machine ~ a couple bridal parties in last weekend. Tap and Still across the street always seems to have a crowd. Grab a cab and take the ferry over to St. John, I think they run till midnight.
