Hi all,

I'm heading to Sydney on Saturday and will be in the area through December 1st then have a week of vacation time. Having never been further than the Big Island, the whole south pacific is an unexplored wonderland. :)

Anyhow, what's my best bet for a week of diving and chilling, based from Sydney. Should I head up to Cairns or maybe over to Fiji or something else? Budget is open, but not unlimited. I'd like to keep it sensible. (<=~$2000).

thanks!

sydney diving right now is pretty good... Bare Island on sunday and we had red indian fish, wobbies, port jacksons, weedies, biggest blue groper ive ever seen, sea horses, nudies ect

but - do the tropics.... talk to Samantha Jackman at Dive Adventures about the tropics http://www.diveadventures.com.au/pages/specials.htm or samantha@diveadventures.com.au or check out their site (note its in aussie dollars) to give you some ideas

im a fan of Vanuatu - easy place to travel to/from and around in
