I have bought stocks for firearms from TEMU. And other misc stuff... no complaints. It's cheap, but it depends on what it is. Sometimes cheap is fine.

I bought sound suppressing ear muffs that take batteries that work awesome. Temu was $15, Amazon was $60. Same exact thing. We love them.

I would try a spool or simple stuff. Have any links?

Like a SS backplate. They used to be $50 on leisurepro.. not anymore. But how hard is it to stamp a BP? Inflation sucks.. we're all trying to save a buck.

Considering reports of knock-offs or unauthorized goods on Amazon, this tends to be how I approach items purchased there as well. If I need to ensure it is "real," I buy elsewhere.
I generally agree with you, but if you check the seller on Amazon, sometimes you can have confidence.

Some of the major brands, such as Scubapro, sell directly through Amazon. And then you'll get some major dive shops/supply stores that do as well. But I agree that you can't just blindly purchase things...you'll eventually run into trouble.
