I went for a dive with a friend last weekend and stumbled onto a club dive at the same site. I did get a few looks as I was sidemount but nothing too negative and even a few questions. The demographic was definitely older divers which you could consider abject to this technical/cave diver set up. But they were all pleasant and I might have even raised some curiosity.
