I have one of the old jet harness flat plates and it is very comfortable. It really works well for single AL tanks, I don't use it with steel because it puts me a bit on the heavy side, so I use my AL freedom plate with steel tanks. The only disadvantage to the jet harness plate is that you're somewhat limited with wing choice if you want to thread the wing in as it's intended. The dive rite travel wing works well; that's what I have for it.
 
Doesn't the travel wing require an STA?
