I'd like to share with you something that me and my team have been working on recently.
I love underwater video & photography and I thought it would be great to make shooting underwater (especially videos) really easy, provided the result wouldn't be all shades of blue and green.
This is how theDive was born. It allows you to shoot underwater (requires a compatible housing by Watershot or Seashell) and it enables you to auto color correct and share directly from your iPhone.
The auto color correction currently works best within the depth range of 20 - 70 feet. We recommend iPhone 5 or 5S and we will add support for iPhone 6 as soon as the housing for it becomes available.
Please check out our recent video from Isla Mujeres, Mexico, which also includes a few shots of the stunning MUSA underwater museum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D9bS2aav9Fg&fmt=18 ... the movie was shot entirely using theDive and only exported to iMovie to arrange the scenes and add music and titles. No external/physical filters, lights, nor post-processing was involved.
