TillyTec has used for many years LiFe (lithium iron), but now it's time for a new battery technology.

The new LiCoMn (Lithium Cobalt Manganese).

Reasons:

  • The new LiCoMn technology offers many advantages over LiFe.
  • good security in the cell caused by manganese
  • more power and less space required by cobalt
  • Manganese "subdues" the dangerous of cobalt, so that the batteries are very safe
  • Cobalt brings a good, long shelf life

But there are also disadvantages that we do not want to hide:

  • LiCoMn can not be charged as fast as LiFe. Charging times will lengthen slightly.

TillyTec brings the new LiCoMn battery technology in a completely new concept to the market. TillyTec uses now only LiCoMn SINGLE - cells. These individual cells are housed in a special holder. The customer can later replace the batteries themselves, at the end of the battery life. The replacement is as easy as changing batteries in a normal flashlight. This has many advantages. E.g. customers need no longer send their light to us for battery replacements. The cells are of course available at TillyTec, or even at many online shops at the Internet. Thus, the advantage is obvious. A battery replacement costs today with the LiFe battery packs about $250-$500 (depending on battery size). Bu the same battery change with LiCoMn single - cells in the TillyTec special holder cost the customers only $50 - $80. As before, of course, the customer does NOT need to open the lamp for charging. Open the lamp is only necessary when the battery is defective and must be replaced.
Customers who already own TillyTec battery canisters (with the old battery technology - whether NiMH or LiFe) are in a warranty or repair are directly transferred to the new system LiCoMn.
Thus, TillyTec is once again ahead in technology, customer friendliness and service.
TillyTec offers with this change in battery performance solutions that are also more customer-oriented.

Inexpensive and easy to move at the same time at a fair price!
