Hello, I am diving a Transpac with a Rec Wing. I want to go to a Transplate. Can I use the Transpac Harness with a Transplate? Thanks.

Well, this is a GOOD question. It's a bit confusing because we named our harness the Transplate and it doesn't include the metal plate. Really confused, yet?
If you want to go to a metal backplate, then the TransPac is not designed to be worn with a metal plate. It already has a backplate, a soft one.
However, if you want to dive a metal plate and get the same support (backpack-style, weight distribution, etc.) as the TransPac, then purchase a metal plate and the Transplate harness and you'll be in business. You can also get a Lumbar Pad if you want additional comfort on this type of rig.
