I am thinking about buying a GoPro + Tray + Dual Light setup. I would like to upgrade to a compact camera in the future, so I am wondering whether I should get a tray that would allow me to upgrade, or should I just get a tray just for my GoPro setup. Also, the price range of tray seems to be pretty wide, what do the more expensive ones give? Any tray recommendations?

I like the backscatter tray the best since it seems to be pretty flexible.

Also, the setup I am planning to get is
GoPro Hero 7
Flip7 Filter
Light & Motion Sola 2000F

Feel free to comment on the setup also!

I have become partial to the SeaLife Flex Connect system. (and lights)
Usually I have a DC2000 or an Olympus TG4 on the tray, with my GoPro mounted on top of the camera.
I can easily switch out different video lights or strobes as needed for whatever I am expecting to shoot.

Recently I even found myself removing a light to better position it for illuminating some tight spaces. (Those Splendid Toadfish really do like to hide under those ledges.)
