Sounds like it's worth making the trip from Oz then:D I was looking at (very expensive) Liveaboards in the area but it seems land based it pretty good.

Just Maybe for interest there is a slightly more accessible Coco Island Liveaboard running now from Quepos area in Costa Rica. The Golfo Express.
