This is so true...
But the Avs were relocated from Canada; they were the Quebec Nordiques. And the Avs are the only team in NHL history to win the Stanley Cup in their first year of relocation. For some Canadians that I have spoken to, they really feel betrayed by the prior owners...hence a Canadian Team in Colorado.

Naval divers were dispatched to retrieve the errant divers, who were in clear violation of maritime regulations as well as disregard for their own safety. Back on the surface, the two divers were questioned as to their motives extensively, while the entire hull of the 936 ft cruise ship had to be revised to ensure that no act of terrorism, or vandalism had occurred. The “Westerdam” eventually set sail at 10 pm and the divers were released with stern warnings."
