Wonderful video, :) Reminds me of pics of my Dad getting certified in Catalina in the 70's.

FYI
.....The narration was by John D Craig who has been discussed in detail....

If you subscribe to Netflix, search for "Danger is My Business." The disc is listed as 2007, but it is actually 3 episodes from the John D. Craig series from the late 1950ies.

Thanks--yes I have Net flix and will order it..

This raises the question how did it ever migrate to Net flix? John passed on after a very long illiness in August 1997--11 years ago -- long before Netflix was established.

And of course how did it the copy survive all these good years?

Thanks for the tip Couv

This is some kind of fake or staged video. Nobody has PDCs, SPGs,auto inflate BCs or BCs at all for some. It's not possible to dive without those things. Just ask any 20 year old DM they'll tell ya:sarcasm:

Great vid! The good ole days, fond memories. I liked the slurp gun one of the divers had. Was that Mike Nelson standing at the chalkboard?

Emulsion long disintegrated off my 16mm original film, "Anyone For Diving" before I could transfer it to DVD. All the ones still viewable on YouTube and Vimeo lack the Disney animation at the beginning. Does anyone still have the original intact with animated cartoon footage included? I anxiously wish to get access to one in order to restore my disintegrated film back to its original condition. Did Nick own one, do you have daughter's contact number)? Also, would you have a spare copy of Underwater Recreation, wherein I'm its Editor? Thanks!
