Sunny SoCal, of course!
I took my Kayak out the other day off Of Point Dume and headed out to the outer reaf. The currents were strong and the waves were some what big ranging from 4-5ft. The vis on the otherhand was amazing ranging from 45-55 ft. Almost the best vis I have ever seen off a beach dive. We spent the afternoon freediving around the reef, teaching my friend how to use a pole spear. Lets go diving people.

Likewise great vis (up to 70-80 ft) at Catalina. Yeeehaaa!

On the drive home from work today I heard a radio news report that referred to the wildfires in Rancho Cucamonga "fanned by hot Santa Ana Winds." Would that ironically be the beneficiary of the suddenly good vis?

(Looking forward to hitting frontside Catalina tomorrow morning on the Sundiver ...)
