Also, maybe take a drive an hour north to Jupiter... good shark dives this time of year and the reefs are very good. Definitely do the lemon shark dive if you can! Jupiter dive center is pretty good although they are getting expensive. I dove with them last year and the boat trip and 2 nitrox tanks were about $70-75. This year the same was $90 and change. Bring your own tanks and save as I think the boat trip runs $55.
 
Lemons are almost gone. We saw a couple last weekend, and the DM saw about 10. WE went out with www.jupiterdivecharters.com. Excellent OP

I lived in Spring Valley/Nanuet very near where the GSP intersects I-287 back in 1985/86, about 15-20 miles from where you're from. I was actually born here in Broward County but I had a lapse in judgement (based on a 50% pay increase to move up there) :wink:
 
I've used South Florida for their boat and Fill Express for fills.
