you would think I had a digital camera... but I don't!

The "Low tech and yet highly controversial" spreader plate is an aluminum plate that is slightly larger than a standard plate and flattens the wing against the plate much like a set of doubles would. No taco effect and it reduces air shift in a non-bungeed wing.

Some have suggested that I am flirting with death for using such a contraption... but then they have never seen it either, so go figure. That being said, I usually do reserve the BP & wings for the doubles and use my Chute II with singles... it's just easier that way!
